When Women Speak: Documenting and Narrating Women's Activism in Postcolonial Ghana

Join us for a screening of When Women Speak (Ghana, 2022) on Thursday 2 February at 4:15pm in Samuel Alexander A7 at the University of Manchester featuring the film's director Aseye Tamakloe, Professor Akosua Adomako Ampofo (University of Ghana) and Dr Kate Skinner (University of Birmingham).

This event will feature a film screening followed by a discussion and is sponsored by Race, Roots & Resistance in partnership with the University of Manchester History Department Research Seminar.
