The University of Manchester Students' Union recently announced the formation of the Decolonise UoM Network.
According to the group's facebook page, 'Decolonise UoM is a collective of staff and students at the University of Manchester who, through political education and building collective power, aim to reimagine and build a democratic, liberated and free education for all.'
The Network has posted a manifesto (full version linked here) and will be hosting a launch event on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 from 12-4pm at the Hive in the Manchester Student Union featuring lots of local allied cultural and political organisations.
Members of Race, Roots & Resistance will be running a stall at the launch and we welcome you to stop by, meet our members, and learn more about our activities.
