Fr. Azariah France-Williams on Doing Anti-Racist Work

Join us on Wednesday 24 March at 5:30pm for an online event with Fr. Azariah France-Williams on what it means to do anti-racist work in the Church of England and other institutions.

This event will feature a public lecture by Fr. France-Williams, priest at the Ascension Hulme and author of Ghost Ship: Institutional Racism & the Church of England (SCM Press, 2020). This will be followed by a panel discussion and live Q&A facilitated by student leaders from In:Colour and the SALC EDI Collective who are currently involved in anti-racist campaigns in education, the creative industries, and the charity sector.

This event is hosted by the Race, Roots & Resistance Collective in collaboration with Creative Manchester and the Lincoln Theological Institute.

The event will run online via Zoom. It is free to attend, but advanced booking is required. Please note that the Zoom details will be sent out to registered attendees on the day of the event.
